House Doctors was recently featured in The Times-Tribune in Scranton, Penn., in an article featuring local franchisees, Ed and Bill Shoener. The article, titled “For Scranton man, business a family affair,” highlighted the father/son team who own and operate a House Doctors franchise together. The pair discussed what it is like to work with family, and how their close ties have helped their business. A William Shakespeare's observation may apply to Ed Shoener's business dealings with his sons.

"Every father should remember that one day his son will follow his example instead of his advice," Shakespeare wrote.

Mr. Shoener, 56, of Scranton, is engaged in business ventures with two of his sons.
